People have called this an old-fashioned Maine winter, although even I can remember deeper cold and snow. Yet the frequent storms have transformed our sights. Views continue to be refreshed and magically pristine with ever-changing entertaining wildlife to boot!
- The cold created piles of ice all along the shore. Most chunks were a foot thick.
