My wife, Springer Spaniel, and I just returned from a 2-week vacation at the Seanook resort cottage in East Boothbay Maine. I can say without hesitation that the three of us had a wonderful time. We were in the Paradise Cottage, which has a wonderful setting in the woods with a terrific view of the bay. The cottage was an extremely comfortable getaway spot in a quiet and scenic neighborhood. The owner, Mary Ellen Serina, was a wonderful hostess. She was available every day and was quick to solve every minor problem that we might have. The property is an easy 10 minute drive from Boothbay Harbor, and a starting point for many of the nearby towns and marine spots in the area. My wife and I highly recommend this property to anyone who is interested in exploring mid-coastal Maine.
