Seanook is open for the week of August 23 – 29 & Labor Day Week 2025

A cancellation has come in for the week of August 23 – 29 at Seanook, which creates an opportunity for a two consecutive week stay there!  Choose both weeks to be here for the change of season, or either.  If you choose the second week, because of the difficulty in traveling over the holiday weekend, I am still offering to prorate the cost for a shortened stay.  You could begin your stay Aug 30, 31, or Sept 1, at Seanook inhaling the fresh salt air and gazing across the water.

On the weekend, many boats will be passing as they approach the ramp at the head of the bay to be hauled for the season.  After that, quiet prevails.   In dramatic contrast, your entertainment will be observing the different fishing methods of Eagles, Osprey, and Blue Heron, and the begging of young brown seagulls.  You have to be fast to catch the Kingfisher as he chatters by, but you will be lucky to glimpse him if he stops for a moment on top of the dock.  Whichever day you arrive, if there are a few clouds, a magnificent sunset over the water will welcome you to Linekin Bay!

Come Tuesday, settle into the sublime solace of September at Seanook!  We think of it as the best month of summer, usually without high heat and human activity.  But all else will be at its peak!  The shoreline will be verdant with leaves and moss, and gardens and wild areas alike will be floriferous.  The ocean should be calm allowing wildlife to flourish both above and below the water.  Yet the Maine sunlight will be a scintilla softer.

We would normally rent the week, Saturday to Saturday, August 30 – September 5 with departure on the morning of the 6th for a base rate of $3600 for up to 6 people. But for this special situation, you could start on Sunday, when the travel traffic might be less for $3086, or on Monday for $2572.
